Professor Kathreena Kurian
Current positions
Professor Kathreena Kurian is Professor of Neuropathology at the University of Bristol and Honorary Consultant Neuropathologist at North Bristol NHS Trust.
She leads the Brain Tumour Research Centre at the University of Bristol, where her research focuses on improving the diagnosis, molecular classification and treatment of adult and paediatric brain tumours.
Professor Kurian has extensive expertise in neuropathology and translational brain tumour research and is actively involved in national Tessa Jowell and international initiatives to advance neuro-oncology.
She currently serves as Vice Chair of the British Neuropathological Society and is a longstanding contributor to multidisciplinary brain tumour research, education and patient care.
