Steffi Thust is a Clinical Associate Professor of Neuroimaging at the University of Nottingham, Honorary Consultant Neuroradiologist at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and Honorary Associate Professor at UCL.

Short biography
Steffi completed medical studies in Germany with distinction before training at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals in Clinical Radiology and completing the Pan-London Neuroradiology Fellowship.
Her academic role builds on work as an NHS consultant and clinical lead for brain tumour imaging at NHNN, Queen Square. As PI and co-I, she has contributed to research studies exceeding a total value of £11m, mostly in brain cancer topics. She has experience of UK-wide leadership for imaging in clinical trials and collaborated on international guidance. Her research spans from clinical MRI to physiological MRI methods, ultrahigh-field imaging and computation/AI.
Steffi is an Executive Board member of the ESMRMB, a member of the BSNR Academic Subcommittee, the SIOPE brain tumour imaging group, the EORTC and represents the ESR EIBALL biomarker alliance. She co-leads the Nottingham NIHR BRC Experimental Medicine group and imaging for the Nottingham Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence.
