British Neurosurgical Research Group (BNRG) Meeting

24th November 2022 - 25th November 2022

The 2022 annual meeting of the British Neurosurgical Research Group (BNRG) will be jointly hosted by the Academic Committee of the SBNS, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and the University of Leeds.

The BNRG are a group of clinicians, scientists, nurses and healthcare professionals who are interested in all aspects of neurosurgical research. The BNRG has historically been a forum for the presentation and discussion of ‘in-progress’ investigations and new study concepts.

The future of Neurosurgery depends on ambitious but pragmatic innovation. This ranges from translating wet- and dry-lab research, to medical devices and technologies that are directly patient-facing and support neurosurgical management. BNRG 2022 in Leeds aims to discuss and debate how to evaluate the benefits of these technologies, the direction of such research, and the collaborative way that we can work together in a relatively small specialty for patient benefit.

The organising committee especially encourages abstract submissions from future research leaders and innovators. Delegates will hear from innovators who have experience of bringing technology and digital solutions into practice.
