Catherine Fraher
Catherine is an experienced leader of growth and innovation who works with communities to understand their needs and help them effect change. She worked in charities for a decade growing impact in support at The Brain Tumour Charity and Age UK. Before that she developed and delivered high growth in strategy, technology and marketing roles in organisations like eBay, the Financial Times and Guardian Media Group. She graduated with an MA in Natural Sciences and an MPhil in History and Philosophy of Science from Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. She now works in the NHS supporting teams to innovate and improve people’s health and care.
Catherine champions strong communities, collaboration, kindness and an evidence-based approach. Her motivation in joining BNOS as a trustee is to continue to support a community she has come to admire and care about deeply whilst growing services like advice, counselling, online communities, community involvement and the Improving Brain Tumour Care patient and carer surveys.
