BNOS collaboration with the National Cancer Action Team:
Rare Brain/CNS Tumours Guidelines
Following a recommendation in the Improving Outcomes for People with Brain and other CNS Tumours (June 2006), the British Neuro-oncology Society has been working with the National Cancer Action Team in producing national guidelines for rare brain and CNS tumours.
A team of experts in this field has been working towards the creation of four new guidelines (Adult PNET, Primary CNS Lymphoma, Pineal and Optic Pathway Glioma).
The team, listed below*, comprised both members of BNOS Council and invited professionals throughout the UK, to whom we wish to convey our utmost gratitude.
